There का प्रयोग Subject के रूप में तब किया जाता है जब किसी Sentence में किसी वस्तु या व्यक्ति का कहीं हो ना या ना होना पाया जाता है। ऐसे वाक्यों में there का प्रयोग Introductory there के रूप में होता है तथा उसका कोई अपना अर्थ नहीं होता है। There के साथ singular तथा plural verb का प्रयोग होता है।
Structure- [There + Hv + ob + ow]
1. एक लड़की है। | There is a girl. |
2. पैसे नहीं है। | There is no money. |
3. जंगल में शेर है। | There is lion in the forest. |
4. पानी नहीं है। | There is no water |
5. मेरे विद्यालय में 30 अध्यापक हैं। | There are thirty teachers in my school. |
6. एक राजा था। | There was a king. |
| बोतल में पानी है । There is a water in the bottal. एक राजा था । There was a king . छत पर चोर है । There is a thief on the roof . तुम वहाँ क्या कर रहे थे ? What were you doing there ? यहाँ रहने की आवश्यकता नहीं है । There is no need to stay here . वहाँ कुछ है । Something is there. उस जगह पर मेरा घर नहीं है । There is no house that place . कमरे में दो कुत्ते नहीं हैं । There are not two dogs in the room . क्या तुम्हारे कमरे में तुम्हारा दोस्त है ? Is there your friend in your room ? क्या घर में कोई है ? Is there someone in the house ? ऐसा कोई ईमानदार आदमी नहीं है । There is no such a honest man . चार पेन हैं । There are four pens. बहुत सारा धन है ? There is so much treasure . सप्ताह में सात दिन होते हैं | There are seven days in a week . घर पर कोई नहीं होगा । There will be nobody at home . |
